ITINERARY
MONDAY: We leave the Midlands from our chosen departure point continuing our journey to the Welsh Border making a lunch break in the ancient town of Chester. After which we take the coastal road to arrive at our hotel situated on Llandudno's famous Victorian promenade. After checking in you can relax in the Lounge Bar before enjoying evening dinner in the comfortable dining room. TUESDAY: After a leisurely breakfast we board the coach for a most beautiful scenic journey along the Vale of Conwy calling at Betws-y-Coed, Capel Curig and through the breathtaking Llanberis Pass to spend the rest of the day in the infamous town of Caernarfon with its castle towering majestically over the Menai Straits and streets of this most famous Welsh town. We return later along the coastal road to our hotel with fond memories of the wonders we have seen today. WEDNESDAY: Today we have the opportunity to explore the wonders of Llandudno with its delightful little harbour, maybe take the interesting tram ride up the Great Orme (payable locally) and enjoy the wonderful view across to Anglesey or maybe just stroll along this beautiful promenade, once a favourite pastime of the rich and landed gentry in the Victorian days of yesteryear. THURSDAY: After breakfast today we once more board the coach to experience the wonders of the Isle of Anglesey. After crossing the Menai Bridge we travel around the coastal road of the island stopping at the bustling port of Holyhead. We arrive back at our hotel with plenty of time to relax before evening dinner. FRIDAY: After breakfast we board the coach to begin our journey homewards via the Horse Shoe Pass that brings us into Llangollen where we stop for lunch (not included) and we anticipate arriving in local areas late afternoon with fond memories of the Wonders of Wales!
