The  Holiday Inn in Stevenage opened recently at the end of 2008 and is a contempory 4  star hotel which offers high spec air conditioned guestrooms.  Each room boasts LCD TV, dimmable lighting, high speed internet plus a high spec bathroom all combining to offer a
superior level of comfort.  There is also a mini gym in the hotel packed with the latest equipment to give you the best possible workout.  Our stay is on bed, English breakfast and 3 course evening meal basis.

Saturday
You will board the coach at your chosen departure point  and travel southwards
towards the world famous university city of Cambridge, where you will have time to explore this most interesting of cities or even take a boat ride on the River Cam.
For the enthusiast interested in aircraft an optional visit to the Duxford Aircraft
Museum available (Museum admission cost chargeable at adults £16.50, senior citizens £13.50, children under 15 free).  This historic aerodrome site is the home to some of the most celebrated air battles in history, even some of the hangers are original from the 'Battle of Britain' days with aircraft d ating back to the First World War, certainly a wonderful opportunity not to be missed.
We arrive at our hotel in plenty of time to freshen up before enjoying a relaxed evening dinner.

Sunday
This morning after breakfast we board the coach for the short journey to one of the most celebrated stately homes in the country, enjoy a ride around the deer park, a tour around the Abbey gardens with one of their experts and even
afternoon tea in the Tearooms as well as explore this most interesting building set in magnificent grounds.

Sadly we have to board the coach late afternoon to continue our journey home to arrive early evening in our local areas.
