Magnificently situated a short distance fronm grange Over Sands, now you have the opportunity to enjoy it. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is a 15 inch minimum gauge Heritage railway journeying 7 miles through two glorious valleys to the foot of England's highest mountains. We have a return journey planned to allow you some free time in Boot—yes that’s what the village is called. Leaving the Midlands this morning we head to the Cumbrian coast Ravenglass for our included train journey. Late afternoon we check in to our hotel. Sunday—We visit Holker Hall and Gardens in all its splendour. We have an early evening eta in the midlands.
