Most restaurants, cafes and pubs are open and there are extra street stalls selling food throughout the village. During both evenings there are a variety of street entertainers who include carol singers, Morris dancers, hand bell ringers, a large fairground organ and choirs in the Parish Church. Then we continue to our hotel to settle in for the next 2 nights. Saturday—Leisurely after breakfast we run out to visit the Clarkes Outlet Village for a couple of hours, then back to the hotel for our included lunch as we are off to Dunster By Candlelight. The plan is to grab the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydiate which will stop at Dunster, where you can follow the path (20 minute walk) to the village to enjoy the evenings festivities. Alternatively you can continue to Minehead on the train and the park and ride service will take you into Dunster. Following the candlelit evening the park and ride bus will return you to Minehead where your coach will be waiting to return you to the hotel. Park and ride service is included with your train ticket. Sunday—Leaving the hotel we head to the Roman City of Bath, in addition to the many attractions of this fascinating city is the Christmas market, an ideal way to round off this festive weekend.
