This small but important village lies in one of Europe's most beautiful   locations at the southern edge of the West Highland Fault, and lying    inside the Lomond & Trossachs National Park, with Loch Ard , Loch Chon, Loch Arklet and Loch Lomond all lying to the West, Loch Katrine, Loch Achray and Loch Venacher to the North and the Lake of Menteith, Scotland's only "lake" lying to the East. The village is without doubt the most important gateway to the Trossachs and has something for         everyone, including those people who love old mysteries.

Monday:	Northward bound with appropriate comfort stops, one being the woollen town of Moffat to meet our afternoon Hotel check in.

Tuesday:	Loch Katrine & Trossachs - Morning free before a short     journey through the glorious Trossachs to Loch Katrine.  Take your seat on the 100 year old Steamship Sir Walter Scott with the beauty of the loch unfolding before you, which inspired Sir Walter Scott to write his  famous poem.  As you travel the tales and legends of the Loch will be narrated by a crewmember.  Afterwards continue onto Callander before returning to the hotel in time for dinner and entertainment.

Wednesday:	  Falkirk Wheel and Forth - Approx 1 hour drive takes you to the Falkirk Wheel one of Scotland's top attractions.  Your time here will involve a trip on the boat to experience the only rotating boat lift in the world, joining the Union Canal.  In the afternoon continue towards       Edinburgh.  Take the cruise under the famous Forth Bridges and out  towards Inchcolm Island to view various wildlife including seals, dolphins and puffins.

Thursday:	Lochs Tour - A spectacular day out, first a trip to Loch       Lomond the Queen of Scottish Lochs before turning off to Arrochar with its dramatic mountain backdrop, known as the ‘Arrochar Alps’.           Continuing along the shoreline of Loch Fyne, Loch Eck and the famous Holy Loch to Dunoon, with free time for lunch.  Afterwards take the ferry across the Firth to Gourock returning to your hotel over the Clyde’s     Erskine Bridge.

Friday:	After breakfast its homeward bound with comfort stops on route, maybe Gretna Green to seal a holiday romance!
