Sunday: Our day is dependant on the crossing times to Holy Island, so we need a reasonable start today to visit. We return home during the afternoon. Holiday Inn Bristol - FiltonText Box: The attraction of Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island has always been the attraction of its occupiers, now a National Trust property - you too can admire its setting. Alnwick Castle (and Gardens) to many people on first sight of this glorious medieval castle, can seem foreboding, its history lacks nothing in drama and intrigue. Some will recognise it from Harry Potter to Elizabeth, Beckett and Blackadder. Text Box: Hotel: The Longhirst Hotel, Morpeth is our base used many times by Wicksons Groups.
