This event honours the 60-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II in the UK. There are events and celebrations planned all over the country, but our capital will take centre stage, so dare we omit the chance to be part of the celebrations. The full programme is yet to be released, but the Thames River Pageant on Sunday 3rd June will be truly spectacular when up to 1,000 boats muster on the River Thames, sounding whistles, tooting horns and changing of bells will ring out as The Royal Barge takes centre stage. Most bathrooms have combination shower/bathtubs. Most rooms offer city views through double-paned windows.
